It’s a neighborhood rich in history and mystery, with the unexpected often hiding in plain sight.
Ghosts of DUMBO takes you on a short, fun, interactive walking tour to reveal the stories, surprises, and spirits lurking beneath the surface.
Players use the Ghosts of DUMBO app to unlock three hyper-local tiny games in the DUMBO neighborhood, which can only be played in the designated locations.
Once they finish a game, the app leads them to the secret location of a ghost, who immerses them in a story about DUMBO’s past.
Players can do one game or all, in any order.
For the grand finale, all players come together for a mass “possession” that brings the ghosts to life and surprises/amuses passersby.
This game is part of the Come Out & Play After Dark festival in DUMBO on July 8, 2016, and runs 7-9pm.
